An internship is a short-term work experience in a professional environment where the emphasis is on learning, growing and developing personal and professional skills. It is a chance for you to get practical experience in your field of interest while working under the guidance of a mentor and an internship coordinator. The mentor and internship coordinator develop a balance between work and education for you in order to create a real-world classroom.
Internships Asia Regional Internship Program offers full-time internships to motivated and committed community development workers as a means to build individual and organizational capacity in their home organizations. Our internship program provides the support and structure for individuals to learn new skills, participate in positive real-world development examples and build strong regional networks in Asia. Selected participants work with other development organizations around the region for a period of 3-6 months before returning to their home organization to utilize their new skills and knowledge. All selected participants are required by the program to return to their home organizations for at least one year to do skills transfer and participate in organizational capacity development.
